Works Independently: The Video Doorbell E340 can operate independently once it's connected to your home wireless router. You have multiple options to receive notifications and hear the doorbell ring. These include using a traditional doorbell chime (if available), a separately sold eufy Security doorbell chime, or an Amazon Alexa Echo Show device.
Works with eufy Security HomeBase (Optional): The Video Doorbell E340 is also compatible with the eufy Security HomeBase 2 or S380 HomeBase (sold separately). In this mode, the video doorbell detects motion at your porch and allows you to answer the door from anywhere. Video clips can be stored in the built-in storage of your eufy Security HomeBase. When someone rings the doorbell, people in the house will be notified.
Dual Cameras, Double Security: Two cameras work together to deliver advanced viewing. The front-facing camera focuses on people, while the downward-facing camera fills in the gaps with a view of the floor in front of your door.
